Every phone deserves a second life.
We believe the next datacenter is already in your drawer.
Our vision
Modern smartphones carry multi-core ARM processors, fast storage and neural engines more powerful than many servers from a decade ago. Yet billions are retired every year after only two or three years of use.
Kyanja exists to change that. We turn idle mobile hardware into reliable, always-on servers — and let people link them together into resilient micro-datacenters owned by communities, not corporations.
Our mission
Make edge hosting free, simple and sustainable for anyone, anywhere — starting with the device already in your hand.
Decentralized micro-datacenters
Every home, school and office already holds computing power. We connect it, so the internet runs closer to the people who use it.
Edge hosting for everyone
Hosting should not need a credit card and a cloud console. If you have a phone, you have a server.
Drastically less e-waste
Each phone we keep running is one less in a landfill and one less new server manufactured.
